Every year the Clubs in Malaga Province compete in a League programme held weekly over the winter months.
For those not over-familiar with the League format, this is how it runs:
The League is in two separate sections – a Triples League and a Pairs League. Lauro will be entering four teams in each League making up a total of eight teams.
The scoring is as follows – 2 points for a win and 1 point for a draw, plus a further 2 points for the highest overall score in each League on the day (making the best possible score of 10 points available on the day in each league.)

The first competition of the new season was held last week on 15th October 2016 where Lauro were at home to Saydo and La Posada, represented by four trips and four pairs in each of the two leagues:
