The club’s Drawn Pairs Final was held on 25th October 2026 between Jeff Turner and Ron Passingham against Paul Hughes and Martin Roper. They had already played in several previous rounds (in Jeff and Ron’s case, four and Paul and Martin, three, with a first round bye). All photos clickable…
The final started with several close ends but Paul and Martin still established an early lead. In spite of some further closely fought ends, Paul and Martin maintained a very high standard and their lead was never seriously challenged. In the end the final score was 20-9 after 16 ends.
