Posted in the news page: Competition Secretary Robert Godfrey gives some thoughts on how the new website will provide opportunities for managing the preparation of, an reporting on, upcoming competitions.
As the new Competition Secretary I am thrilled and very much look forward to incorporating our new website in to the day-to-day bowling experiences.
First and foremost it will be the primary source of information regarding forthcoming Competition events. The calendar will be updated well in advance to include all our Internal and External Competitions. All league events will be shown and hopefully this should allow all our members to plan their Bowling schedule accordingly.
There is an entry page for competitions so it will be very simple to directly enter without the need to come to the club or having to text. Of course for those that want to continue by putting their names on the board that will still be an option.
League selections will be posted in the Members Section which is passsword protected in order to prevent other clubs seeing our teams ahead of time.
During the seasons all competition draws, results and news, will be kept up to date so for those not around they will be able to know what’s going on.
Our goal is to ensure that all our members and visitors to our website enjoy the experience of understanding what Lauro is all about which is a warm and friendly club.
We welcome everyone to the club regardless of the standard and for those that want to improve and compete or just want to participate in the roll-ups then Lauro is the place for you.
